"For me, it was my 50th birthday! My husband surprised me and booked Casa Yvonneka for a surprise party. Accomplished business man - yes; party planner (especially out of his own backyard) - no! Not having privy to anything that had taken place behind the scenes, all I can say is wow wow WOW! My birthday celebration at this gorgeous casa will be a memory I will NEVER forget!!! From the elegant, sunset cocktail hour overlooking the city, bay and infinity pool, complete with margarita/mojito/hibiscus martini bar, to the mouthwatering appetizers and the 4 course prime rib dinner, not a detail was overlooked. The staff were friendly, gracious and accommodating. The service was professional and impeccable. The wine selection paired with our dinner was exquisite. Even details like the flowers, candles, stemware, and linens were gorgeous. And if that wasn't enough the arrangement of the suprise arrival of Vallarta's best Mariachi band, timed with the presentation of a delicious birthday cake from the best bakery and champagne corks popping just put this night over the top! "Eighteen of us (9 couples) just returned from a dream week spent at Casa Yvonneka. I had coordinated a group trip with friends to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Most of us are seasoned travelers and therefore with high travel standards. Fortunately Casa Yvonneka wildly surpassed all of our expectations. We didn't want to come back home! The location is absolutely ideal. Although we were spoiled by the views, the beach and downtown area is only a 10-20 minute walk from the villa. The property is designed extremely well with an open layout, is magnificently decorated, equipped with really cool outdoor night lighting, extremely clean, and comes with exhilarating views of the bay, Old Town and the mountains. The heated infinity pool area is so inviting we spent over half our time here. In fact we canceled many of our excursions because we were so happy at the villa! The staff is attentive, friendly and spectacular. We had plenty of fresh fruits, non-stop fresh guacamole, salsa, margaritas and freshly made drinks, not to mention gourmet dinners. You can order off a menu or just ask the staff to make whatever you want. The staff goes shopping daily and prepares your meals. You will love this paradise! "

"In Feb 2010 we toured several villas as possibilities for a family vacation in 2011. Upon entering Casa Yvonneka we knew we had found "The One." Our family of 15, four generations spanning 2 years to 90 was wonderfully taken care of by Magdalena and the rest of the staff. The home has all the amenities one could imagine. The attention to detail is a delight to experience. Casa Yvonneka is well-located for access to many of Puerto Vallarta's treasures. The staff truly provided 5-star service, from measuring portions for our 7 year-old diabetic grandson to offering use of a stroller for the 2 year-old. The pictures online are magnificent, but actually being there is even better - and the staff's efforts just added more pleasure to our week. The meals were fabulous - breakfast was a never-ending offering of fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, bacon, French toast, eggs any way you could imagine. In 11 years of vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, 4 years with our extended family, Casa Yvonneka was The Gold Standard of total pampering. Yvonneka, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. "From the moment we arrived until we departed the staff could not do enough. From the time you got up in the morning until some very late evenings they were at your beck and call. The view is quite magnificent and villa was quite spacious and accommodating for enjoying fun together as a group or to find a spot for you to read, sun bathe or take a little nap. "As a filmmaker who has spent his life shooting scenes on man-made or nature-made sets I felt I had seen it all. But then recently I entered the world of Casa Yvonneka and it was something I had never experienced before. It is a multi-story resort for high level corporate and private groups to share precious time together in Puerto Vallarta. My experience began when I entered the elevator and began a journey that took me to different worlds on different floors. Each floor of bedroom, living room and dining room suites is an art set in itself with its own theme of colors, paintings and furnishings that blend together in one incredible picture. And that picture merges with one of the most spectacular views of the Puerta Vallarta coastline I have ever seen. No matter what suite or what floor you are on it is all so open that you feel like you are there seated in the middle of the hills or beaches. I am a writer by trade but I can't find the words to describe it. You will just have to experience it for yourself. "

"Looking for a great place to bring your friends or family? This is it! Yvonneka told us that this was the perfect place to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday and she was right. An amazing time was had by all - all 13 of us! The weather was perfect, the views fantastic, every detail of the home was exquisite and the staff was warm, friendly and generous. There were six teenagers and we never worried about their safety. We could walk everywhere and when my parents were tired they could get a cab home for $5.00 US. The hardest part of the day was deciding on dinner - which was always delicious. We're definitely returning because this vacation will be a hard one to top! "
